Yes, it's free. For a panel answer, where five AIs answer and we pick the best, you watch a few short ads. We show you exactly how many before you start. If you'd rather skip ads, take a quick answer: one AI, no ads, 3 a day.
Sometimes the ads you watch cover more than your question needed. The leftover becomes credit, shown as “credit for about N more answers”, so a short follow-up may need no ad at all. Credit has no cash value. It can't be cashed out or transferred.
Longer questions, and follow-ups in a long conversation, take the AIs more work. We estimate that before you start and turn it into a number of ads. You see the number first, and it never goes up while you watch.

We compare the answers. If most reach the same conclusion you'll see something like “4 of 5 AIs agree”. If they split, we say so, show the strongest answer and let you read the rest. A split is useful to know: the question is contested, or the answer is less certain than it sounds.
